LIMA — An instructor at the University of Northwestern Ohio is receiving national recognition when he’s inducted into the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame in January.

Mike Streicher, a Findlay native, has won USAC National championships as a driver, mechanic, car builder and owner.

Streicher is being inducted along with Mario Andretti, Tommy Astone, Bryan Clauson, Kenny Irwin, Jr., and Bobby Marshman in ceremonies in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Jan. 18, 2019.
