BLUFFTON — Teachers can enroll in Bluffton University’s summer reading endorsement program.
Licensed teachers who took a phonics class during their undergraduate studies can add the reading endorsement to their teaching license by taking as few as four classes from Bluffton during the summer of 2019.
The four mandatory classes will be offered primarily during the months of June and July. The first set of online classes will take place June 10-July 5 and the second set from July 8-Aug. 2. Experiential learning hours can then be completed in the participants’ own classroom or school.
The program fulfills the Ohio Assessments for Educators requirements to take the reading endorsement examination. For more information or to enroll in Bluffton’s summer reading endorsement program, contact Bluffton’s Office of Admissions at firstname.lastname@example.org or 419-358-3257.
