LIMA — The Ohio State University at Lima will be offering its annual Girls Who Code Club for middle and high school girls from October to December.
Girls Who Code Club is a free, 10-week program created to spark the interest and confidence of females in programming. The club is open to girls in sixth through 12th grade, parents and school administrators.
Participants will create projects based on music, art or games and will work together to create a computer science impact project.
There will be an informational session and open house from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 27 in Galvin 451. Girls Who Code Club will officially began Oct. 1 and will continue every Monday until Dec. 3.
