Lima Senior students to help during annual Down Syndrome walk


LIMA — Lima Senior High School students participating in the Spread Jada’s Joy DECA Project will be assisting at the annual Buddy Walk put on by the Down Syndrome Association of Western Ohio.

Spread Jada’s Joy is a public relations campaign organized by Lima Senior students and is named after 2-year-old Jada Hood, who was born with Down Syndrome.

Registration for the Buddy Walk begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the shelter on the hill at Faurot Park. The Lima Senior students will be raising awareness about Spread Jada’s Joy while also running games and special events during the Buddy Walk.
