ONU receives grant to implement engineering design in high school classrooms


ADA — The National Science Foundation awarded Ohio Northern University, in collaboration with Ohio State University and Olathe Northwest High School, Kansas, a $450,000 grant to implement engineering design activities in high school science classrooms.

The three-year grant will fund the project, “Promoting Engineering Problem Framing Skill Development in High School Science and Engineering Courses.” The project was designed and Submitted by ONU faculty Blake Hylton and Todd France, working with Patrick Herak of OSU and Bruce Wellman of ONWHS.
