WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ohio students interested in attending one of the United States military academies have until Sept. 21to send their completed application packets to Senators Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman.
Brown and Portman nominate up to 10 students to each academy each year. The application process consumes a great deal of time, and applicants should place accordingly.
Students who meet the eligibility requirements should send their applications packets to Brown’s office in Cleveland and Portman’s office in Columbus.
The service academies include the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
