LCC accepting applications for free, reduced-fee lunches

LIMA — Applications for free and reduced-price meals for Lima Central Catholic High School are being distributed in a letter to parents and guardians.

The applications are also available at the principal’s office. Households should fill the applications out and return them to the school.

Eligibility will be determined using the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines. If a household’s annual income is at or below the federal guidelines, they could be eligible for free and reduced price meals or, if the school participates in the special milk program, free milk.

Households receiving aid from Special Nutrition Assistance Program Benefits (SNAP) or Ohio Works First (OWF) must provide the child’s name, case number and signature of an adult household member on the application. Households not receiving assistance from those two organizations much include the names of all household members, the last four digits of the Social Security Number of the adult signing the application, the source and amount of any income and the signature of an adult household member.
