Riley Grant, admitting/registration specialist in ED, accepted a seat in the respiratory care program at Rhodes State College.
Brittany Bowersock, admitting clerk in outpatient registration and scheduling, enrolled in the practical nursing program at Rhodes State.
Karen Bruns, a clinical secretary at the Miami Erie Practice, attends Rhodes State to study medical coding and plans to take the certified coder exam.
Elyssa Sheriff, a STNA and unit clerk in inpatient services, is in her senior year of her bachelor’s of nursing program at Wright State University.
The program remembers Cindy Bruns, a Joint Township District Memorial Hospital nurse who died unexpectedly in 1994 at the age of 26. It has funded more than $43,000 worth of scholarships to employees wishing to further their education.
