BLUFFTON — The Bluffton University baseball team raised more than $50,000 for pediatric cancer research and patient care though the non-profit Vs. Cancer. The team also raised awareness by shaving their heads in front of their fellow classmates on Tuesday, Feb. 27. This was the seventh year the baseball team shaved their heads.

Stylists from the Curling Iron donate their time and expertise to shave the heads of the Bluffton University baseball team.

The event is scheduled days before the Bluffton University baseball team heads to Florida for spring training. The players make a statement with their shaved heads and Vs. Cancer T-shirts.
