Ada grad visits Providence for service project


BEREA — Baldwin Wallace University student Evan Smittle, of Ada, dedicated his 2017 winter break to help out with Baldwin Wallace’s alternative break service program. The program sends students to San Antonio, New Orleans, Chicago and Providence, R.I., to participate in diverse community engagement projects.

Smittle is a graduate of Ada High School and is majoring in theatre acting, directing, arts management and entrepreneurship. Smittle headed to Providence to explore the theme of creating change through creative expression in partnership with Providence CityArts for Youth, the Manton Avenue Project and the Amos House.
