VAN WERT — Lincolnview schools’ superintendent said the school board is upset after Lincolnview Classified Education Association released statements to the media about a proposed negotiation.
“This frustrates the board’s efforts during six bargaining sessions to build a constructive relationship,” said Jeffrey Snyder, Lincolnview schools superintendent. “It is especially discouraging that the union has made numerous misrepresentations about our negotiations.”
Snyder said that the board will continue to respect the bargaining process and will not negotiate anything in print with misleading statements.
“Despite the union’s tactics, the board remains prepared to meet with the union, and we look forward to settling a contract on mutually-agreed terms,” he said.
