ADA – Community members are invited to attend “American Architecture: Understanding the World Around” at Ohio Northern University in spring 2018.
This course will examine the importance of architecture in understanding history and the built environment. Non-ONU students can attend course sessions without enrolling, and a schedule of topics will be available so they can select which discussions to attend.
Community members who wish to enroll will have options to take the course as a senior citizen or auditor, and information on those options will be available through the registrar’s office.
The first class will be on Jan. 23. The course will be taught by Professor Ray Schuck on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in room 230 inside of the James F. Dicke Hall’s. Classes will not be in session during spring break from March 5-9.
“I have always been intrigued by architecture and how history and culture have shaped the design of buildings,” said Schuck in a news release. “I look to share that passion with participants in this class.”
