COLUMBUS — Ryleigh Hanicq, of Van Wert, was one of 15 Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow students to be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society for the 2017-18 school year. This is the third year that ECOT has admitted students into the National Honor Society.
To gain eligibility, students must meet certain criteria set both by NJHS and ECOT. Students must be in seventh or eighth grade and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00. Students must have at least 10 hours of community service and two letters of recommendation — one from a teacher or counselor and another from a member of their community.
