ELIDA — A ceremony was held Nov. 29 at Elida High School for 25 students inducted into the National Honor Society.

New members of the society include Hillary Baime, Cayla Butler, Jessica Donley, Corbin Fingerle, Kennedy Harsh, Jency Jenkins, Cienna Kuhn, Kainna McGee, Taylor O’Black, Annie Sayoto, Madalyn Schomber, Alexander Treece, Tyson Williamson, Riley Bartels, Molly Davisson, Grace Earl, Naudia Frieson, Kaylee Haywood, Jasmine Jones, Tayonna Lasenby, Baylie Moening, Hailey Rode, Brianna Schimpf, Jacob Taylor and Micah Wassink.

Current members Kylie Bryan, Keagan Layman, Jacqueline Nichols, Janay Sherard, Alyssa Wells, Morgan Harvey, Amanda Leis, Logan Orians and Skyler Smith also attended the ceremony.

Elida NHS officers Ashley Watkins, president; Molly Burkholder, vice president; Savannah Meeker, secretary; and Kate Foster, treasurer, presided over the program.

The characteristics of “Character, Leadership, Service and Scholarship” are at the core of the National Honor Society.
