ELIDA — Elida High School students Cole Harmon and Jacqueline Nichols attended and competed at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, in July. They competed with a Sports Nutrition project and received a silver rating in the senior category.

While at conference, they also had the opportunity to volunteer with other competitions, listen to motivational leadership speakers, network with students from all 50 states and even watch the Fourth of July fireworks in downtown Nashville.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national career and technical student organization that provides personal growth, leadership development and career preparation opportunities for students in family and consumer sciences education.
