Lima schools’ eighth graders experience career tech

LIMA — Eighth-grade students in the Lima City Schools will spend from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, March 2, learning about the career tech programs at Lima Senior High School.

Students will rotate through the high school career tech programs, talking with teachers and students and observing class sessions.

Booths will be set up in the auxiliary gymnasium showcasing each program with current students available to talk and answer questions from eighth graders. In addition, each student will spend time with a high school guidance counselor to begin scheduling classes for next year.
