LIMA — Temple Christian students visited 50 Strong recently, a growing Lima company owned by Lima residents Ashley and Brendan Thompson.
The Thompsons’ company makes water bottles in a wide variety of styles and colors with a special no-leak lid. Walmart is now one of its primary distributors.
Students from Temple Christian included Chance Dyer, Lizzie Helser, Isaac Lee, Terry Norris, Derek Pitts, John Powell, Seth Sarchet, Carol Smith, Grace Smith, Timothy Stoddard, Isaiah Taylor, Lincoln Water, Malachi White and Cameron Worsham. Temple Christian staff members included teachers Dianna Cooper, Darla Stoodt and Jodi Callahan.
The tour was brought about by the Link Lima workforce development framework and site visit program hosted by the Allen Economic Development Group. These programs help connect employers with available and upcoming talent.
