New Knoxville students place in God, Flag and Country speech contest

NEW KNOXVILLE — The Wapakoneta Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 691 held a competition for God, Flag and Country speech contest.

New Knoxville students placing in the contest were Sam Anspach, first place in 14- to 15-year-olds; Liberty Menke, first place in 12- to 13-year-olds; and Ella Resor, first place in 10- to 11-year-olds; Thomas Bills, second place in 10- to 11-year-olds; and Noah Holland, third place in the in 10- to 11-year-olds.

First place winners advanced to the district level in Minster on Sunday, March 12.
