BLUFFTON — Budding entrepreneurs will have another opportunity to pitch their plans to the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs in 2020. The entrepreneurial center is offering a seven-session course led by Kathy Keller, CBA, which will culminate in a pitching contest for small businesses with less than 50 employees in the 45817-zip code and emerging businesses in Allen, Hancock, Hardin and Putnam counties.
BCE Executive Director Paula Scott said participants will come away with a plan outlining their financial forecast, market research, risk management and marketing strategy.
“It requires you to spend time and meet deadlines on issues that you might be leaving on the back burner,” she said in a press release.
Emerging businesses are those that have been in operation for less than two years or those with revenues of less than $20,000. Registration prior to Jan. 1 is $125 or $175 between Jan. 1-14. Three scholarships are available for contestants born between Jan. 1, 1999 and Jan. 1, 2002. Applications are available at BlufftonEntrepreneurs.com. Call 567-525-6667 with questions.
