LIMA — Anne Pfleger, of Findlay, was recently elected as the National Association of Women in Construction’s national president-elect for 2019-2020.
Pfleger is a 13-year member of the organization through the Lima chapter. She is currently an estimating, safety and human resources administrator for Charles Construction Services and in the guest services department for Art Van Furniture.
“The construction industry has changed in the sense that it is no longer a male-dominated industry but a male-populated industry,” Pfleger said in a statement. “Women are often seen more in the forefront of construction, both in the field with boots on the ground and seats at the table; influencing the direction of the construction industry. My commitment is to continue building leaders in whatever capacity each woman wants to be.”
