Kenton Elks team advances to nationals

KENTON — The Kenton Elks 157 ritualistic team will advance to nationals this summer.

The team won statewide ritualistic competition held at the 121 Ohio Elks Convention, and will compete in the 151 Grand Lodge Convention in St. Louis June 30 through July 3.

Individual award winners from the Kenton Lodge are Todd Daquinor, exalted ruler; Derek Kaufman, esteemed leading knight; Michael Sturgeon, esteemed loyal knight; Nathan Davis, esteemed lecturing knight; Gina Hoelscher, chaplain; and Justin Draper, inner guard. Chad Spencer also competed at Esquire and took the highest overall score but was not eligible for individual awards.
