Lima physician to lead state medical society

COLUMBUS — Susan Lee Hubbell, MD, was sworn in as the Ohio State Medical Association’s new president this month. Dr. Hubbell is a physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor in Lima. She is now the OSMA’s sixth female president, according to the OSMA. Hubbell used the occasion to launch a new OSMA campaign, Healthier Ohio — 2020 & Beyond.

“Unfortunately, Ohio ranks near the bottom in our country in some key categories when it comes to the health of our family members, friends, neighbors and our patients,” Hubbell said in a press release. “Ohio physicians are committed to reversing these statistics. Through this campaign, we will work to identify what factors might impede the delivery of high quality medical care to patients who need it most.”
