Paulding Putnam Electric donates more than $12,000 to Paulding-area organizations


PAULDING — Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative recently distributed more than $12,400 in third-quarter grants to 12 local organizations through the co-op’s Operation Round Up program.

Members of the program round up their monthly electric bills to the next dollar with the pennies used to help fund community charities and groups.

Van Wert Middle School, Putnam County HomeCare & Hospice, Miller City Volunteer Fire Department, Four Presidents Corner Historical Society, Paulding High School, Trinity United Methodist Church, Friends of Paulding Park District, Historic Main Street Van Wert, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Vantage Career Center, Antwerp Local Schools, and Nips n Snips of Paulding County are all recipients of the Round Up program.
