ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Chris Seddelmeyer, of Seddelmeyer Travel Concepts in Lima, was among those honored at the recent American Society of Travel Advisors Global Convention in Washington, D.C.
ASTA’s Advocacy Dinner celebrated the organization’s successes in advocating on behalf of the travel advisor community at all levels of government, within the industry and before the traveling public, presenting a number of prestigious awards to it members.
Seddelmeyer was presented with one of two annual Barbara O’ Hara Awards, which recognize individual ASTA members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in terms of their support for ASTA’s advocacy initiatives, leading grassroots campaigns and ASTAPAC fundraising.
“We are excited to honor Chris with the Barbara O’Hara Award,” said Eben Peck, ASTA’s executive vice president of advocacy. “As a dedicated member of the association for nearly 30 years, her support for ASTA’s advocacy mission has been close to unparalleled.”
