Lima Kiwanis Club official receives club award


LIMA — Robert Day, Kiwanis member and Division 2 Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor, received the David P. Gillespie Award during the Ohio District convention on Aug. 11.

The David P. Gillespie Award is the highest bestowed on the Ohio District Governor for outstanding work with the Service Leadership Programs. The Kiwanis Club of Lima has leadership service programs in Lima City Schools, including Builder’s Club for middle school students, Key Club for high school students and K-Kids for elementary age students, to name a few.

Day has been a member of the Bryan and Celina Kiwanis Clubs.
