Midwest Electric donates $10k to local organizations

ST MARYS — Midwest Electric’s Community Connection Fund cooperative donated over $10,000 to 15 area charities and community projects.

The cooperative donated:

$1,500 to Community Health Professionals, Van Wert, to purchase an ID printer.

$1,500 to the Lima Symphony Orchestra.

$1,200 to the New Knoxville Fire Department to purchase a laptop.

$1,000 to the Mercer County D.A.R.E. program for certificates, supplies and graduation medals.

$1,000 to Coldwater Elementary School for flexible seating for classrooms.

$500 to Waynestock, St. Marys, to support the youth concert.

$500 to help fund Bath High School YES fest.

$500 to the Lima American Red Cross for miscellaneous expenses.

$500 to the Van Wert Council Agriculture Society in order to sponsor the Gospel tent at the Van Wert County Fair.

$450 to Wapakoneta Christian Homeschool to help purchase storage cabinets and supplies.

$400 to Coldwater Kiwanis to purchase a refrigerator for fundraising events.

$400 to Spencerville Local Schools for the purchase of a mounted bleeding control station.

$300 to Celina Primary School for the purchase of sensory room equipment.

$250 to Miracle Meal, Inc., Wapakoneta, for supplies for Miracle Meal Dinners.

$250 to Auglaize County Shooting Sports for the purchase of safety equipment and supplies.
