Huntington commemorates National Ballpoint Pen Day

LIMA — Huntington National Bank celebrated National Ballpoint Pen Day on June 10 to commemorate the anniversary of brothers Laszlo and Gyorgy Biro filing the patent on that date in 1943.

More than 54 million Huntington ballpoint pens have been distributed across the world. The pens were once chained to tables and counters, but in 2010 the bank freed the pens and encouraged customers to take them.
