OhioMeansJobs offers funds to uptrain employees


BLUFFTON — OhioMeansJobs-Allen County has given Diamond Manufacturing in Bluffton $3,000 in funds to uptrain 10 current employees in Six Sigma.

Six Sigma is a data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects in any process, from manufacturing to transactional and from product to service.

Colonial Surface Solutions in Allen County will receive $4,500 in funds from OhioMeansJobs Allen County for 34 current employees to receive forklift training.

The funds came from Incumbent Worker Training funds administered under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
