Shawnee Township Police Department recognizes employees


LIMA — The Shawnee Township Police Department recently held its bi-annual awards banquet for 2016 and 2017.

Police department employees were recognized for notable actions taken over those two years, as well as years of service and perfect attendance.

The following police officers received awards during the event:

• Sergeant Rob Kohli (two distinguished achievement awards)

• Patrolman Jeremy Shellenbarger (one distinguished achievement award and one attendance certificate)

• Sergeant Shane Hartman (two distinguished achievement award)

• Detective Jack Miller (four distinguished achievement awards)

• Patrolman Jon Baker (one distinguished achievement award and one attendance certificate)

• Sergeant Adam Hoehn (one distinguished achievement award)

• Patrolman Ben Altenbach (2 distinguished achievement awards and one attendance certificate)

• Detective Don Marik (Years of service certificate- 5 years and two distinguished achievement awards)

• Communications Operator Supervisor Sara Stemen (two distinguished achievement awards)

• Administrative Assitant Missy VanMeter (one distinguished achievement award)

• Communications Operator Lauren Stauffer (one distinguished achievement award)

• Patrolman Josh Zimmerly (one distinguished achievement award)

• Patrolman Chris Miracle (15 years of service certificate)

• Chief Mike Keith (10 years of service certificate)

• Connie Miller (15 years of service certificate)

• Jewlene Gause (45 years of service certificate)

• Patrolman Corey Wilson (two attendance certificates)
