BLUFFTON — Willow Ridge, a nursing home in Bluffton, was recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one the “Best Nursing Homes” for 2017-2018.
Willow Ridge and 2,300 nursing homes across the country were recognized for being one of the Best Nursing Homes, out of the 15,000 nursing homes that were evaluated across the nation by NewsWeek.
Nursing homes were chosen based off of health inspections, the nurse staffing and quality measures. Qualified nursing homes had to receive an overall rating of four and a half and above.
“We’re proud that Willow Ridge, featuring the first Greenhouse Homes in Ohio, has received this recognition,” said Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio chief executive officer, Laura Voth, in a news release.
The 20-bed facility is a part of MHCO, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services for older adults in a Christian environment.
