LIMA — New services will now be offered by local printing company Proforma Add-A-Line due to a partnership with Longmeier Printing and Advertising.
Those new services will include eCommerce solutions and wearable promotional items like coffee mugs, key chains, lanyards, and more, according to Kendra Smith, Proforma manager of public relations.
For over 35 years, Proforma has provided solutions to businesses worldwide for graphic communications needs. The company also specializes in promotional products, printing services, business documents and eCommerce solutions.
Longmeier Printing and Advertising has specialized in mimeographing, typing and mailing business letters for local companies since 1904. In 1975, the business was purchased by D.L. Frueh who expanded the company into a multi-color printing and advertising firm, according to a news release.
Bob McPheron, owner of Proforma, is excited about the partnership and looks forward to offering customers the new products.
“This merger is a great deal for both parties,” stated McPheron. “I get the pleasure of providing Longmeier clients new services they haven’t had access to before, and (Longmeier) will have peace of mind knowing that his clients will continue to receive the high level of customer service that they have been accustomed to.”
As part of the transition, four Longmeier Printing and Advertising employees will now work with Proforma Add-A-Line, and the others will remain at the downtown production facility. Frueh stated in a news release that he is committed to making the transition smooth for his customers.
“It has been a pleasure getting to know Bob McPheron and I know his team will do a great job continuing to serve our clients,” stated Michael Frueh. “Longmeier has been serving Lima and surrounding areas for more than a hundred years and it was our top priority to find the right partner to continue on the great legacy of this company. We are confident Proforma Add-A-Line will uphold Longmeier’s long-standing values of quality and service.”
