LIMA —Allen Lima Leadership will introduce its 30th class Wednesday night and celebrate teh graduation of its 29th class during an event Wednesday night at Veterans Memorial Civic Center, 7 Town Square, Lima.
Allen Lima Leadership’s mission is to develop adult and youth leaders for the benefit of the community. Graduates of ALL’s Signature Course will strengthen the community as committed leaders making a positive difference.
“The 2017 ALL class will join nearly 800 graduates who have passed through the program doors, taking 10 months to learn about our community and graduating better prepared to serve it,” coordinator Melissa Warren said. “These graduates represent a diverse group of community leaders and members from multiple industries and vocations in the Lima/Allen County area.”
The Signature Course provides a dual curriculum of community development and leadership development. Class members learn about Lima and Allen County, they network with each other and with community decision makers, and they develop their own leadership skills they can use in their work and other organizations.
The class of 2017 will present its class project. The class of 2018 will also be introduced. The ALL Board of Directors will present two awards, the Distinguished Community Leadership Award and the ALL Alumnus of the Year Award.
