Fertilizer applictor certification training course offered


Fertilizer applicator certification, 6-9 p.m., at The Inn at Ohio Northern University, 401 West College Ave., Ada. Arrive by 5:30 p.m. so that materials may be distributed. Free training meets the certification requirements for those with and without a pesticide license.

ADA — The Hardin County Extension is offering a three-hour agricultural fertilizer applicator certification from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, March 6, at The Inn at Ohio Northern University, 401 West College Ave., Ada. Guests should arrive by 5:30 p.m. for distribution of material. The free training will meet the certification requirements for those with and without a pesticide license. Pre-registration is required. Call 419-674-2297 to register or register online at nutrienteducation.osu.edu.

In addition, there will be a two-hour certification program from 1 to 3 p.m., March 14 for applicators who currently hold a pesticide license, at the Plaza Inn Restaurant in Mt. Victory. Again, pre-registration is required. Call 419-674-2297.
