Local students graduate from Bluffton University


BLUFFTON — Bluffton University bestowed diplomas on local students at their graduation ceremonies on campus.

Seth Evans of Ada, Ohio, earned bachelor’s degrees in history and sports management. Evans was the recipient of the Sports Management Distinguished Scholar Award.

Taylor Risner of Ada, Ohio, earned a Master of Arts in Education.

Allyson Richardson, of Alger, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in primary education P-5. Richardson graduated as a member of Pi Delta Society.

Brittany Alvarado of Beaverdam, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and audiology.

Zachary Basinger of Bluffton, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Leslie Diaz Valdiviezo of Bluffton, Ohio, earned bachelor’s degrees in graphic design and marketing. She was also the recipient of the Graphic Design Distinguished Scholar Award and graduated as a member of Pi Delta Society.

Christopher Gott of Bluffton, Ohio, earned a Master of Arts in Education.

Nathan Heinze of Bluffton, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in convergent media. Heinze was the recipient of the Convergent Media Distinguished Scholar Award. He also graduated as a member of the Honors Program.

Jesse Owsley of Bluffton, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Therisanyo Phetlhu of Bluffton, Ohio, earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and marketing.

Jessica Pratt of Bluffton, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in social work.

Ethan Rodabaugh of Bluffton, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Rodabaugh also graduated as a member of Pi Delta Society.

Kai Smith, of Bluffton Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in psychology.

Veronika Stafa of Bluffton, Ohio, earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and pre-medicine. Stafa was the recipient of the Pre-Medicine Distinguished Scholar Award. She also graduated as a member of the C. Henry Smith Scholar Program.

Leah Tabler of Bluffton, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in English with minors in honors studies and writing. Tabler was the recipient of the English Distinguished Scholar Award. She also graduated as a member of the Honors Program and Pi Delta Society.

Paige Lawhorn of Continental, Ohio, earned bachelor’s degrees in primary education P-5 and intervention specialist.

Meghan Ream of Delphos, Ohio, earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and nutrition and dietetics. Ream was the recipient of the Nutrition and Dietetics Distinguished Scholar Award. Ream graduated as a member of the C. Henry Smith Scholar Program and Pi Delta Society.

Adam Byram of Fort Recovery, Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in history.
