LIMA — A portion of Market Street just east of the Main Street intersection will close Tuesday for one to two days, according to City of Lima Engineer Ian Kohli. Local access to the Lima Municipal Center and Walnut Alley just east of the Municipal Center and the Rhodes State Borra Center will be maintained throughout the closure.

After this closure, both Market Street and Main Street will reopen with lane restrictions for approximately 60 days, according to a release from the Engineer’s Office. Market Street traffic will have one lane open to through traffic in either direction while Main Street traffic coming from either direction will have to turn right at the Market Street intersection.

These closures are part of the project to construct a single-lane roundabout at that intersection.
