PUT-IN-BAY — Put-in-Bay School Board announced the hiring of a new school superintendent for 2022-2023. Mr. Scott Mangas, currently the Ottoville, Ohio, Local School District Superintendent, was named the new superintendent at the Put-in-Bay board meeting.
Mangas has been an administrator at Ottoville for over twenty-three years having served as both principal and superintendent. Mr. Mangas holds a Bachelor of Special Education and Teaching from Toledo University, and a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of Findlay. Prio to his time at Ottoville, Mr. Mangas was employed by Leipsic schools for six years.
