Who’s eligible?

•All adults and children age 5 years and older.

• There were three new deaths attributed to COVID-19 over the past week, according to the Ohio Department of Health. One death was added to the tallies in Allen County, Putnam County and Van Wert County.

• Allen County ranked 60th in Ohio’s per capita rate of new cases over the last two weeks, at 79.1 cases per 100,000 residents. The community risk level was labeled “low,” according to Allen County Public Health, which reported 43.7% of people were fully vaccinated. Just 0.3% of inpatient hospital beds were in use by COVID-19 patients.

• Hardin County continued to see the region’s highest per capita rate of new cases over the last two weeks, with 105.2 cases per 100,000 people, the 41st highest in Ohio. Other local counties were all in the bottom 15 in the state, including Auglaize (59.1), Van Wert (56.6) and Putnam (44.3).
