Free lunch planned for Perry Township safety personnel

PERRY TOWNSHIP — The participants and staff of Bittersweet at Betty’s Farm will provide a free appreciation lunch to all Perry Township safety services personnel from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday at the Perry Township Administration Building, 2408 Breese Road, Lima.

Jerry Hunt, day program manager at Betty’s Farm, said the event “is Betty’s Farm’s way of showing these deserving folks how much we appreciate the services they provide for the residents of Perry Township with a small token of our appreciation.”

The lunch is open to all township police, fire, maintenance personnel, trustees, treasurers and zoning officials.

Bittersweet Inc. serves adults and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders at three locations in Ohio.
