OTTAWA — An electrical fire knocked out power to part of Ottawa on Wednesday night.

According to the Ottawa Police Department’s Facebook page, an electrical fire near the intersection of North Perry Street and 11th Avenue caused the incident. State Route 65 was still blocked off for AEP and Ottawa Fire Department crews working on the issues at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

AEP Ohio reported on its website 274 customers were without power. They were scheduled to be restored before midnight.
