CELINA — Celina police arrested a 31-year-old woman for operating a vehicle while intoxicated after her vehicle struck a pedestrian early Sunday, according to a press release from the Celina Police Department.

Jeremiah Williams, 39, of Celina, was walking in the middle of Celina’s Deford Street near Cron Street when he was struck by a car. Williams suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to the police department.

The car was a 2003 BMW sedan driven southbound by Katie Dunno, 31, also of Celina. The car sustained moderate damage.

In the investigation, police found Dunno was under the influence of alcohol and arrested her. She’s held in the Mercer County Jail on $100,000 bond while Mercer County Prosecutor Matthew Fox reviews the case.
