WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Rep. Bob Latta (OH-05) earned an A+ rating on the 2021 Susan B. Anthony List’s annual National Pro-Life Scorecard the organization announced today.

Latta says he is a pro-life advocate because he believes the right to life is the ultimate right.

“Without it, there would be no basis for all other rights,” Latta stated in the release. “I am proud to have earned an A+ on the Susan B. Anthony List’s Pro-Life Scorecard for my work to protect and defend the lives of the unborn as well as the safety and wellbeing of mothers and babies.”

Latta supported numerous pro-life policies during the 117th Congress and introduced the SAVE Moms and Babies Act. The bill would prohibit the FDA from approving new abortion drugs or allowing them to be ordered through mail or telemedicine. He also introduced the Protecting the Dignity of Unborn Children Act, which would establish a new criminal offense for disposing of fetal remains in a landfill or in any navigable waters of the United States.

According to the SBA List: The scorecard takes into account votes and actions for every member of Congress for the first session of the 117th Congress.
