Elida students to perform in OMEA concert


OMEA Concert: 3 p.m., Niswonger Performing Arts Center, 10700 state Route 118, Van Wert. Ohio Music Education Association District 3 concert, featuring local students.

ELIDA — Six Elida High School students will perform with the honors band, choir and jazz band during the Ohio Music Education Association’s District Three concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center, 10700 state Route 118, Van Wert.

The Elida students participating include junior Chloe Parent, performing Principal Euphonium with the concert band; senior Cale Wright and junior Zoey Rizor on the alto sax and drum set for the jazz band; sophomores Catherine Myers and Zac Schmunk and senior Hunter Brendle with the choir.
