Nov. 1

Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke was granted judgment against Richard Soto, Continental in the amount of $2,135.93 as of June 24, 2021 for real estate taxes and assessments regarding property located in the village of Dupont.

Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke was granted judgment against CitiFinancial Mortgage Co., Inc., Irving Texas, in the amount of $1,936.85, as of June 24, 2021, plus any additional amounts for real estate taxes and assessments.

Jodi M. Schroeder, Leipsic, and Roger J. Schroeder, Leipsic, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married April 1, 2000 in Putnam County and have three children.

Nov. 2

Amber R. Bradley, Ottawa, was granted a divorce against Brent A. Bradley, Findlay. They were married Sept. 18, 2004 in Leipsic and have four children.

Nov. 4

Brittany M. Baldwin, 29, 203 Chestnut St., Apt. B, Marysville, was sentenced to 204 days jail for violating community control sanctions. The violations included failing to report to her supervising officer and using heroin. She was placed on five years community control and given credit for 204 days served. She must obtain and maintain employment, and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended. She was originally convicted of possession of heroin.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Oct. 28

Luke J. Schroeder, 20, 5323 County Road A, Deshler, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, one year license suspension. Charges of OVI, marked lanes and underage possession were dismissed.

Samuel L. Geckle, 52, 16 Liberty St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to assault. Sentence: 180 days jail, 160 days suspended, credit for one day served, and must have no contact with victim or his property. He was ordered to pay court costs for driving under FRA non-compliance. Charges of criminal damaging/endangering, unauthorized tampering reg/plates, driving under FRA non-compliance, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, obstructing official business, tampering with evidence and expired registration/plates were dismissed.

Nov. 2

Michael A. McLaughlin, 51, 17915 Road E-16, Continental, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine.

Nov. 4

Jared A. Smith, 33, 118 Main St., Apt. 6, Pandora, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of no operator’s license. Sentence: 180 days jail, $250 fine, $150 suspended and perform 80 hours of community service. A charge of speeding was dismissed.
