GoFundMe fundraiser unveiled for family of Lima accident victim

LIMA — A GoFundMe page has been created to support the family of Duane Allison, who was killed Tuesday night in a traffic accident in Allen County.

Bethany Glazer, who is organizing the fundraiser, wrote of Allison, “He took a piece of everyone’s heart with him. Please fly extra close to your family today as they start the painful process without you.”

Allison left behind his wife Heather and three children, Dalyn Allison 6, Alydia Allison 12, and Kayleigh Allison 12, according to the GoFundMe page. He worked at the Allen Oakwood Correctional Facility and spent his spare time giving back and working hand-in-hand in the community with his food truck service, The Bobby Cue Grill.

As of noon Friday the page had raised more than $3,000 in donations. To view the GoFundMe site, visit: https://j.mp/2XA8ENt
