BLUFFTON — Bluffton University economics professor Dr. Jonathan Andreas will share a colloquium lecture on management and the meaning of life at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, in the Stutzman Lecture Hall of Centennial Hall on the Bluffton campus, 1 University Drive, Bluffton.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will consider how striving for monetary rewards alone is not fulfilling.

“Economists and management leaders have put too much emphasis on monetary incentives and simple pleasures for motivating people and seeking wellbeing,” Andreas said in a press release. “This modernist tradition has neglected the deep human desire for the transcendence of spirituality and/or meaning in life, which is arguable the most important part of life.”

Masks are required indoors on the Bluffton campus.
