Marimor Industries to offer free shredding on Oct. 28


Free shredding: 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Marimor Industries, 2450 Ada Road, Lima.

LIMA — Marimor Industries, 2450 Ada Road, Lima, will offer a free day of shredding from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct.28. October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and the shredding event is a way thanking the individuals and businesses that continue to support and advance the mission of the agency.

The event is open to any business or individuals that would like to have their documents destroyed in a safe and confidential manner. Those wanting to participate can drop their paper documents off at Marimor Industries.

Materials suitable for shredding include all recyclable paper, cardboard, documents containing employee information, medical information, insurance information, customer/patient information, obsolete records and s information.

Not permitted are X-rays, microfilm, plastic or sticky labels.

Marimor Industries is a private, non-profit corporation that provides training, community employment and habilitation services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Allen County.
