BLUFFTON — Construction is underway for Bluffton University’s new science center.

Once complete, the 20,000 square foot Austin E. Knowlton Science Center will include six laboratories for nutrition and dietetics, chemistry and biology, as well as faculty offices and collaborative space for students, the university said.

Bluffton University held a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the occasion during its homecoming and alumni weekend.
