LIMA — The Allen Water District is set to begin construction on the East Regional Waterline Improvement Project on Wednesday.
The project will see a total of 75,000 linear feet of waterline installed in Allen County, stretching to serve the villages of Harrod and Lafayette, as well as Allen East High School. The project was made possible through various state and federal grant funding.
Construction is expected to take place on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and could cause road closures throughout the process. The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2022.
