Allen County Sheriff’s Office investigating thefts


On Sept. 13, Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 401 S. Robert Ave. concerning a burglary complaint. The three suspects appeared to be juveniles. They apparently left their bicycles behind.


BATH TOWNSHIP — A rash of thefts in Bath Township has kept the Allen County Sheriff’s Office busy.

According to a news release, the thefts range from items taken from vehicles to stealing bicycles and lawn decorations. The thefts have escalated in recent days.

On Sept. 13, deputies responded to 401 S. Robert Ave. concerning a burglary complaint. Fortunately, the residents had their Nest video cameras going and recorded the crime in progress. The thieves got away with jewelry and several electronic devices.

The three suspects appeared to be juveniles. They apparently left their bicycles behind.
