Pop-up clinics see largest single-day vaccinations since April

LIMA — Allen County saw more than 250 vaccine starts last Wednesday, the highest single-day coronavirus immunizations reported here since April 10.

The bulk of those immunizations took place at pop-up clinics in Robb Park and Heritage Elementary School, where Allen County Public Health gave away 215 $100 gift cards, or $21,500 total, to individuals receiving their first dose of vaccine on Sept. 8. Gift cards were purchased using grant funding from the Ohio Department of Health.
